British Safety Council launches IOSH Managing Safely e-learning course

The British Safety Council has just launched the e-learning version of the well established face-to-face IOSH Managing Safely course.  The course, which is intended for managers and supervisors in all organisations across all sectors, provides delegates with sufficient knowledge to be able to manage health and safety issues in their workplace.

The course, which can be completed in 24 hours, covers an introduction to health and safety management, identifying hazards, assessing and controlling risks, understanding your responsibilities, investigating accidents and incidents and measuring performance. The course also includes a session on environmental management specifically the control of waste and pollution. Although an awareness of health and safety issues would be an advantage to delegates it is not essential.

Upon completion of the course delegates who go on to successfully complete both the practical and written assessments will be awarded a certificate from IOSH.
